Barney's Joy Hunt - Nov 2007 : Norfolk and Myopia Hunts (and some others) joined with some of our local riders for the Thanksgiving Hunt on Sat Nov 23., beginning and ending at Barney's Joy...... beautiful, chilly day w/ no breeze. (Photo note - Had a few overexposure and poor focus issues w/ 35mm...... camera now out for an overhaul! 1st 25+ photos are film, most of the rest, the point and shoot digital)

Guilford Hounds Nov 2007 : I met Mame at her house in Troy NH on Nov 10 and we followed the Guilford Hounds on a hunt in Putney VT..... a brisk, but nice day - nice folks and a lot of fun! some really cute horses including 2 Percherons, 2 Cheval Canadiens, a Morgan named Honey, draft crosses....This hunt was along some nice fields along the Connecticut River.

Norfolk Hunt rides in Westport Oct 2007 : the Norfolk Hunt Club visited Westport to hunt on October 6. After meeting up at Ms. Elizabeth Meyer's and Mr. Michael McCaffrey's Turtle Hill Farm, they were off after the hounds through some beautiful countryside along the east branch of the Westport River. Carrie and I followed along as able in my car finding several good vantage points, then were invited to the Hunt Breakfast (lunch, really) at Destruction Brook Farm. Carrie discovered several friends and aquaintances were riding and a good time was had by all. for those of you wondering, it is a drag hunt; no harm to any actual foxes;) A very exciting sight and it looks like loads of fun - especially after I discovered there are different groups, some jumping every obstacle, some just a few and some (Hilltoppers) jumping no jumps at all! ** photos 1-21 were taken w/ 35mm Konica, 21-42 with the point/shoot digital; lesson learned AGAIN to always carry extra film! **
