Santiago Airport, 2 hrs from Portillo -unless the road is closed, which happens fairly regularly- like the day I arrived, when the road opened at 4 pm after being closed all day. Since I arrived SCL at 8 am, we spent a long time parked 20 miles from the resort, waiting for the road to be deemed passable, as it was snowing.
